Deuba condoles death of Dhanuk



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed his deep sorrow over the demise of its Mahasamiti member and Tarun Department member Medani Mahato Dhanuk (Madan Mandal).

Dhanuk, who is from Adarsha Kotwal Rural Municipality-5 in Bara district, died today while he was being brought to Kathmandu from his hometown for the treatment.

In a condolence message issued by NC President Deuba today, he has extended his tribute to the departed one and extended heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family members.

Dhanuk had significantly contributed to the Nepal’s democratic movement and to the party. Deuba, also the former Prime Minister, mentioned that the demise of Dhanuk had caused irreparable loss to the party.

He further said the NC had lost a talented youth leader with the demise of Dhanuk.
