LONDON: British police have found the body of Richard Borris, former Ambassador to Nepal, who was missing since May 6 Hampshire.
He was last seen running in Alton in the county on 6 May in a forest in Hampshire.
Father-of-three children, Morris served as an Ambassador to Nepal for four years from November 2015 to November 2019.
Hampshire Constabulary said that officers discovered a body in Alice Holt Forest and the “death was not being treated as suspicious”.
Police has searched the forest where Morris was known to enjoy running.
Police had inspected the 2km of the River Wey, as well as CCTV footage and carried out house-to-house inquiries.

He had also worked as the Head of the Pacific Department at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), consul general in Sydney.
He also served as Director General of Trade and Investment in Australasia.
