NSC recommends Lama and Giri to CAN



KATHMANDU: The National Sports Council (NSC) has recommended Chumbi Lama and Dharma Raj Giri to the post of member of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), Executive Committee.

The recommendations were made as per the provision to nominate two persons from the NSC to the Association.

With the nomination of Lama and Giri, the CAN Executive Committee has finally got full shape after a long gap of nine months.

Lama has already served as Chief Operating Officer of CAN in the past and is the managing director of the Queens Event, that hosts the Pokhara Premier League.

Likewise, Giri is the Vice-chair of the Madan Bhandari Sports Foundation’s Cricket Department.
