Karnali Province govt decides to run schools in 5 mountainous districts



SURKHET: The Karnali Province government has decided to run schools in five districts in the mountainous region.

A meeting of the Karnali Disaster Management Center chaired by Chief Minister Mahendra Bahadur Shahi has decided to run schools in Humla, Mugu, Dolpa, Jumla and Kalikot under Karnali Province.

The meeting decided to open a school in the mountainous districts of Karnali saying there was no risk of coronavirus infection.

However, it should be noted that Jumla and Kalikot have 19 and 17 coronavirus cases so far.

The Karnali Province government has also decided to allow yarsagumba collection in Humla, Mugu and Dolpa by taking necessary security precautions.
