‘Destination Mardi Mountain’ campaign kicks off



POKHARA: The ‘Destination Mardi Mountain’ campaign has kicked off in Pokhara.

Aimed at promoting internal tourism, the Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry kicked off the campaign by beginning a trek to Mt Mardi on Thursday.

The campaign has also been initiated in a bid to augment Internal Tourism Year 2019 announced by the Gandaki state government and the Visit Nepal Year 2020 announced by the Government of Nepal.

President of Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Damu Adhikari informed that the Chamber set the Destination Mardi Mountain campaign for promoting the two visit years declared by the state government and the federal government by developing a tourism culture.
