KATHMANDU: Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) said it would offer a 30 percent discount on rooms and 15 percent on food for foreigners during the Visit Nepal Year 2020 (VNY 2020).
Sajan Shakya, General Secretary of HAN said the decision to this effect was made in a bid to make the VNY 2020 campaign a success.
The government has set a target of attracting over 2 million tourists to Nepal in 2020.
Shakya, however, said that the 30 percent discount will only be applied in the hotels that are associated with HAN.
