KATHMANDU: Around 80 percent of paddy plantation has taken place by the second week of Shrawan.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, 80.13 percent of paddy plantation has taken place by the second week of Shrawan even though the monsoon started 10 days later this year.
Last year, 81.31 percent of paddy plantation had taken place by the second week of Shrawan.
