PM Oli holding talks with his Indian counterpart today

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is holding talks with newly elected Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on Friday.

To be held at Hyderabad for a half-an-hour, the meeting will be focused on  various dimensions of bilateral ties between the two countries. It is learnt that Oli will officially invite Modi to visit Nepal during this meeting.

This is Oli’s second official visit to India after took charge as the prime minister of Nepal for the second time one-and-a-half years ago. Earlier, Oli had visited India in March, 2018.

Oli took part in the swearing-in ceremony of Modi on Thursday. Following the ceremony, Oli had held meetings with President Ram Nath Kovind and other heads of state from BIMSTEC countries.
