Court demands Rs 300,000 bail bond from Siddha Baba  



SUNSARI: Sunsari District Court on Monday ordered the release of rape-accused Krishna Bahadur Giri, popularly known as Siddha Baba, on bail.

The court ordered his release on a bail bond of Rs 300,000 following the conclusion of bail-hearing.

The District Government Attorney Office had filed a case against Siddha Baba accusing him of committing a crime in line with the National Criminal Procedure Act, 2017.

Police on December 2 had arrested Siddha Baba from the ICU of Birat Nursing Home on the charge of attempting to rape his own follower.
