Six die in car accident in UP



LUCKNOW: Six people, including two minors, died when their car skidded off the road plunging into a canal in Uttar Pradesh’s Greater Noida, India’s police said on Monday.

Five other passengers of the car sustained injuries in the accident.

Police said altogether 11 people were on board the car, which fell into Kherli canal in Dankaur area.

All 11 were taken to a hospital, where doctors declared six of them dead.

The accident appeared to have taken place due to fog, according to the police. (Agencies)
