Policeman arrested with Rs 15,000 bribe



KATHMANDU: A policeman has been arrested with bribe.

A team from the Commission from the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) in Butwal nabbed Sub Inspector of Police Khim Bahadur GC deployed at Area Police Office, Mangalapur of Rupandehi with Rs 15,000 kickback.

Acting on a complaint that the officer has been demanding bribe from a service seeker, anti-graft body nabbed him.

Further investigation into the case was underway, CIAA said.
