KANCHANPUR: Television host Rabi Lamichhane currently facing charges for abetment for suicide has to face another case.

A contempt of court case has been filed against Lamichhane at Kanchanpur District Court for disrespecting the court through his television program ‘Sidha Kura Janatasanga’.

One Khadka Bista filed the case for disrespecting the court by pointing Dilip Singh Bista as a culprit of the Nirmala rape and murder case. Bista’s brother Khadka lodged the contempt of court case as Dilip Singh was acquitted by the court.

During the program, expelled DSP Angur GC had claimed Dilip Singh to be the culprit. The complaint has further claimed that Lamichhane too had used a derogatory word against Dilip Singh branding him as a rapist.

Lamichhane was released on Sunday on a bail bond of Rs 500,000 over abetment of suicide case of journalist Shalikram Pudasaini.
