Nepal-US business collaboration discussed in Washington State

KATHMANDU: A ‘Nepal-USA: Business Collaboration, Investment Opportunities and Visit Nepal 2020 consultative meeting’ was held in Redmond of the United States of America aimed at exploring business prospects in Nepal and the US.

Organized by the consul office for Seattle in Washington State recently, the meeting was participated by over 200 delegates from the business community of both Nepal and the US, according to AC Sherpa, the honorary consul for Seattle in Washington State.

Nepal’s Ambassador to the United States Arjun Karki; former US Ambassador to Nepal Scott H Delisi; Mayor Bothell-WA Andy Rehune; Washington State Senator Doug Ericksen; Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation representatives; Miss Nepal World Anushka Shrestha, among others, expressed their views in the event.

Participants talked about duty-free, quota-free facilities extended to 77 Nepali products.
