KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) went up by three points on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

Bench mark index climbed up by 3.18 points to settle at 1,255.98 points  on Monday. Likewise, the sensitive index that assesses first-rate companies went up by 1.08 points to settle at 2.71.11 points.

Nepse had spiraled down by double digits on Sunday.

A total of 1,208,342 units of shares of 166 companies were sold for Rs 350,812,572 on Monday.
