KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has predicted rainfall for three continuous days in Kathmandu Valley.

Meteorologist Manju Basi said the weather pattern has been attributed to the moisture laden wind from Bay of Bengal as well as the low atmospheric pressure formed in the eastern area since Wednesday.

The current weather pattern will continue till Saturday, according to Basi. Thundershowers were also expected in some of the areas in the eastern part of the country tonight.

Likewise, the eastern and central parts of the country will witness partly cloudy weather.

The eastern part will remain sporadically cloudy on Saturday.
