PM Oli reaches New Delhi



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli reached New Delhi on Thursday afternoon to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Indian Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi.

He was welcomed by Indian Foreign Secretary (west) A. Gitesh Sarma upon his arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport. PM Oli also held special talks with Sarma in presence of Indian Ambassador to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri and Nepali Ambassador to India Nilambar Acharya.

PM Oli is one of the VVIP guests, out of eight VVIP guests from neighboring countries, invited by the Indian government for the swearing-in ceremony. PM Oli is accompanied by his spouse Radhika Shakya.

Indian PM-elect Modi is taking the oath of office and secrecy for his second term as PM of India at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi this evening.
