NC Gen Sec Koirala alleges government of being autocratic



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Shashank Koirala today came down heavily on the incumbent government alleging it of moving towards the path of authoritarianism.

Speaking at a program in Kathmandu today, Koirala emphasized that the NC needs to forge unity to create an environment that would pave the way towards securing a majority in the next elections.

Likewise, speaking on the occasion, NC central member Arjun Narsing KC accused the government of trying to suppress the voice of the people. He also criticized the government of failing to address people’s aspirations.

NC central member Dr Ram Sharan Mahat also criticized the government of not functioning as per the spirit of the constitution.
