KATHMANDU: A Nepali youth Mohd Irfan of Banke has been honored with the prestigious ‘National Youth Icon Award 2019’ at the Constitution Club of India.

The International Youth Committee (IYC) of India honored Irfan for his contribution in the field of development.

Irfan, a social and political activist, has participated in several national and international conferences.

He was also recognized as a Global Youth Peace Ambassador at the Maldives by the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Development of the Maldives.

Chairman of IYC, Jayanta Patra handed over the award at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi on Friday.
