Baglung collects 5.715 mln revenue thru traffic rule violations



BAGLUNG: District Traffic Police, Baglung took action against 9,445 drivers for violating traffic rules in the fiscal year 2075/76. The DTPO, Baglung collected Rs 5.715 million in revenue trough the  action taken against them.

Those facing action include 641 trucks, 618 buses, 4,480 jeeps, 1,012 tractors, 2,654 motorcycles, and others 40.

The number of vehicles facing action in the fiscal year went up as compared to the fiscal year 2074/75.

Actions were taken against vehicles for carrying loads beyond capacity, over speed, drink-driving, violating traffic rules and driving without licenses said Sub Inspector Mahendra Ranabhat.
