NA to construct houses for Tornado victims from May 4



BIRGUNG: Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokharel has stressed on the need of immediately completing construction of houses for Tornado-hit locals of Bara and Parsa districts.

Talking to media, Defense Minister Pokharel clarified that the Nepal Army (NA) would fulfill its duty of constructing houses.

He said, “There will be no policy-level obstructions in the task of constructing houses for storm-affected people. It will not be affected by any political pressure.”

The federal government has provided Rs 846.87 million to NA for the construction of 1,453 houses in Bara and Parsa districts. The construction work will begin on May 4.
