Country has made leap forward in development: PM Oli

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said the country has made a leap forward in development.

In his address to a program ‘Prime Minister with Media Persons’ organized here today by the Press Organization Nepal, he said the opposition parties are fearful of development pace in the country with the government putting forward development works in an innovative way.

“The Kathmandu-Pokhara-Lumbini railway will be constructed within six years”, he said, adding, “Some people cheap remarks when I talked about the operation of stream and cruise in the rivers and rivulets. I pay sympathy to our oppositions who do not even know that ships are operated in the water”.

He also expressed happiness at the youths who made and successfully tested a ship in the Narayani river.

“Now shipments of goods can arrive here through the Ganga river in India. Those believing it take this positively. But it will be a matter of a joke for those who do not believe it. They will be surprised when this happens,” he said.
