NRNA grieved over deaths



KATHMANDU:  The Non Resident Nepalis Association (NRNA) has said all NRNs have been shocked at the news of the death of seven people, including the Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Rabindra Adhikari in a helicopter crash in Taplejung on Wednesday.

Extending condolences to the bereaved families, including Adhakari’s, the association said the country has lost a true nationalist and an active leader.

“NRNA was working in collaboration with Adhikari. We will remember his efforts for the promotion of Nepal’s tourism after assuming the post of Minister for Tourism,” Association’s Spokesman, Bhusan Ghimire stated in a press release today.

Likewise, it has also expressed sorrow over the deaths of the victims, and extended condolences to the families, including Yeti Airlines’ managing director and a leading tourism entrepreneur, Ang Tshring Sherpa.

Meanwhile, Nepal Chamber of Commerce has also expressed sorrow over the death of seven people including Minister Adhikari and tourism entrepreneur Sherpa. It has extended condolences to the members of the bereaved families.
