Bodies taken to TU Teaching hospital for postmortem

KATHMANDU: All the seven bodies of those killed in the Wednesday’s Air Dynasty chopper crash in Taplejung have been taken to TU Teaching Hospital from Tribhuvan International Airport for postmortem.

Meanwhile, the security around the premises of Teaching Hospital has been tightened.

Following the postmortem, all the seven bodies will be taken to Nepal Army Pavilion Tundikhel for condolence.

As per the cabinet decision taken yesterday evening in Baluwatar, Adhikari’s body will be conferred state honor.

The government has given public holiday today to mourn the chopper crash victims. All the government offices, educational institutes and diplomatic missions have remained closed while the national flag has been lowered half-mast across the country.

Seven people including Tourism Minister Adhkari died in an Air Dynasty crash in Taplejung on Wednesday afternoon.
