One killed, five injured in road accident

CHITWAN: One person died and five others were injured when a bus rammed on to a truck at Fisling in ward no. 4 of Icchyakamana Rural Municipality on Sunday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Bhanu Timilsena,23, of Mechi-2 in Jhapa. He died on the way to the hospital.

According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, the passenger bus, Na. 5 Kha. 4819, carrying Timilsena and others was heading towards Kathmandu from Kakarvitta when it hit a truck, Na. 7 Kha. 2561, loaded with buffaloes for Kathmandu. The accident took place at around 4:45 am this morning.

The injured are undergoing treatment at the Old Medical College in Chitwan.
