Kaski secretary of Biplav outfit arrested



KASKI: A leader of the outlawed Netra Bikram Chand alias Biplav group has been arrested by police.

District secretary of the group Sujan BK was arrested from Pokhara on Saturday evening.

According to SP Dan Bahadur Karki at the District Police Office, Kaski, BK was arrested acting on a tip-off that he was going around calling himself a combatant commander.

He was recently appointed to lead Kaski for the group after the previous district secretary Bibek Bhandari was arrested by police.

Further investigation over BK was underway, SP Karki said.
