Community schools produce poor results yet again

KATHMANDU: The results of Secondary Education Exam (SEE) was published on Thursday afternoon. The community schools  did not produce good results this year, too.

Of the total examinees, the number of students from private schools scoring A + is five times more as compared to the number of community schools.

Of the total 475, 003 examinees appearing in the SEE, 14, 788 students from private schools scored A +, only 2,792 students obtained A +.

A total of 325, 330 students had appeared in the SEE from community schools while 133, 945 examinees were from private schools as per the federal structure.

The SEE exams had been held from February 22 to April 3.

Educationists have attributed weak teaching methodology, teachers’ negligence, political interference, schools’ indifference toward students.
