Parliamentary committee instructs govt to endorse Fast Track DPR

KATHMANDU: The parliamentary National Concern and Coordination Committee has instructed the government to endorse the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of the Kathmandu-Tarai Madhes Fast Track at the earliest.

A meeting of the committee instructed the government to pave the way for implementing the important works of the fast track expeditiously on the basis of the DPR.

Nepal Army is constructing the fast track while the DPR has been prepared by Korea’s Sussung Company and had been forwarded to the Council of Ministers for its approval. The DPR has been currently held up at the Council of Ministers.

The Nepal Army is working on the 72-kilometre fast track project by setting up its camps at 10 places altogether in different places.
