LAMJUNG: A person died on the spot after being struck by lightning in Madhyanepal municipality-3 in the district on Monday night.
The deceased has been identified as 18-year-old Sunil Sankhi, a local.
Shankhi had gone gone to the field to prepare a nursery bed for paddy seedlings around five kilometers away from the house.
Body of Sankhi has been taken to Damauli Hospital for a postmortem.
