Trophy hunters kill 6 Himalayan bluesheep, 3 Tahrs in Dhorpatan



GALKOT: Six Himalayan bluesheep and three Himalayan Tahrs have been killed by trophy hunters in Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve in the second wildlife hunting season this year.

The reserve office had issued permission for hunting 10 Himalayan bluesheep and four Himalayan Tahrs in the second hunting season. However, wildlife hunting companies could kill six bluesheep and three Tahrs.

Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve is the only hunting reserve in the country established in 1987.
