KATHMANDU: A graft case has been filed against two persons including the then Chief of Transport Management Office Rupandehi, Butwal on the charge of selling driving licenses for money.

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) filed a graft case against the then Chief Aanada Keshari Pokharel and Police Inspector Rabindra Shrestha.

The anti-graft body accused Pokharel and Shrestha of providing driving licenses to 71 examinees who failed in the trial examination.

A case has been filed at the Special Court demanding one-year imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000.
