Pedestrian dies in Nawalparasi road mishap



KATHMANDU: A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle at Bardghat Municipality 11, Mauratandi, on East-West Highway on Wednesday afternoon.

The victim has been identified as 60-year-old Buddhi Maya Subedi 60.

Subedi, who was rushed to the New Medical College in Bharatpur died while undergoing treatment, according to the police sources.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the driver and the vehicle under its control.
