DPM Yadav says cabinet reshuffle didn’t humiliate him

JANAKPUR: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Upendra Yadav has said that the recent cabinet reshuffle and his transfer from the Ministry of Health and Population to Ministry for Law, Justice and Parliamentary did not mean much for him.

Talking to journalists at Janakpur in Dhanusha on Wednesday, DPM Yadav said that the reshuffling responsibilities in the Cabinet were a normal phenomenon.

He added that reports surrounding his reshuffling from one ministry to the other and his humiliation were misleading ones.

Speaking on a different note, DPM Yadav said that it was a wrong mentality to mention the 2007 Gaur incident-related issues to dominate the entire Madhesh.

It should be noted that on 21 March 2007, a total of 27 people linked to then CPN-Maoist were killed in Gaur of Rautahat district.
