PM Oli begins to speak; health condition gradually improving



KATHMANDU: The heath condition of Prime Minister KP Oli, who had been kept on ventilator following appendicitis surgery on Tuesday, is gradually improving.

With his health condition improving, Prime Minister Oli has been removed from the ventilator and is undergoing treatment at Interim Care Unit (ICU). He is now able to speak and move, said Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center.

“Prime Minister KP Oli was admitted to Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center of the TU Teaching Hospital on Tuesday. He has been kept on observation of doctors following his appendicitis surgery,” said a press statement issued by the hospital at 10 am today.

His health condition is gradually improving and he can now speak and move, the statement said.
