BUTWAL: Two police personnel have been arrested red-handed with a bribe.

A team from the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) arrested Armed Police Force Inspector Tej Bahadur Jora and Assistant Constable Birendra Prasad Chaudhary with Rs 6,000 kickback.

They were arrested red-handed from Gaidahawa-3.

The anti-graft body said the duo was arrested for receiving the bribe assuring of facilitating the brining of household essentials.

They have been handed over to CIAA Headquarters in Kathmandu.
