KATHMANDU: Two persons were injured when a motorcycle they were riding was hit by a tipper at Annapurna Chowk in Swoyambhu.

According to police, the motorcycle, Ba 56 Pa 1902, was hit by a tipper, Ba 5 Kha 2481, at around 12:30 am on Thursday.

The injured are motorcyclist Prejan Magar, 22, of Sindhuli and pillion rider Police Constable Sanobhai Nepali deployed at Metropolitan Police Circle, Swoyambhu.

They are undergoing treatment at the Dhapasi-based Grande Hospital, police said, adding they have impounded both the vehicles and arrested the tipper driver.
