Tribhuvan University Senate summoned for Friday



KATHMANDU: The Tribhuvan University (TU) Senate which could not take place for long has been summoned for coming Friday.

The Senate which is required to take place twice a year has not been possible for one and a half years.

With the appointment of a new vice-chancellor on November 3, the Senate has been scheduled for Friday, TU Registrar Dilli Ram Upreti said.

During the Senate, a proposal in regard to the appointment of the chair of the TU Appellate Commission will be presented.

Names of Binod Parajuli, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Poudel and Prof Dr. Ram Prasad Khatiwada nominated for the TU Executive Council members will be endorsed by the Senate.
