Roadshow of Lumbini Visit Year 2076 second phase begins

PARASI: The second phase of Lumbini Visit Year 2076 roadshow kicked off from Sunday at Ramgram Stupa in Parasi.

Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development of State 5, Baijnath Chaudhary, said that the first phase roadshow had a good impact and that the second phase would give a boost to the publicity campaign.

The State 5 government had on May 18 last year announced the Lumbini Visit Year 2076 with an aim to increase the tourist arrival to 2 million during the Lumbini Visit Year.

A 30-member team has already started on a journey from Parasi to the eastern district of Jhapa to promote the Lumbini Visit Year 2076.

Minister Chaudhary informed that the roadshow will be organized at major cities such as Hetauda, Bharatpur, Janakpur, Bardibas, Itahari, Lahan, Bhedetaar, Dharan, and Biratnagar in the course of its onward journey to Jhapa.
