Woman set ablaze by husband, in-law succumbs to burn injuries



KATHMANDU: A woman, who was set on fire by her husband and mother-in-law, has died while receiving treatment.

Seriously injured Kanchan Mandal, 21, of Siraha-8 died while undergoing treatment at the Shankhu-based Sushma Koirala Memorial Hospital.

The husband is on the run after setting his wife on fire on Thursday while police have arrested the deceased mother-in-law.
