Minister Bhusal vows to develop agriculture sector

KATHMANDU: Newly-appointed Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Ghanashyam Bhushal has said that the government is prepared to develop the agriculture sector with the cooperation of the private sector to modernize agriculture.

Speaking at the parliamentary committee on Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources, Minister Bhusal also said that his ministry would formulate policies to address the demands of the private sector in accordance with the changed context.

He also said that the laws would be amended according to the changed time and demand.
