Nepal Army calling tender for construction of 71 bridges along fast track



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Army (NA) is calling a tender for the construction of 71 bridges along the Kathmandu-Tarai-Madhes Fast Track, three months after the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of the project was approved.

NA will call for the tender within December 1 to start the construction of the bridges from February.

16 out of 87 bridges to be built on the 72.5 kilometers road will be constructed by international companies, a media report said on Sunday.
