Government striving for development and good governance: PM Oli

LALITPUR: Prime Minister KP Oli has said the Nepal Communist Party (NCP)-led government has been striving for development and good governance.

The government, he argued, has been endeavoring to fulfill the people’s aspirations through different programs.

On a different note, PM Oli said NCP will now take a stride as the party’s unification process has been concluded despite some delay.

Speaking at a program in Lalitpur today, he said that the party has proved that the communists know how to unite, not only to bicker or split as alleged.

PM Oli, who is also the Chairman of the NCP, claimed that it has been established that the communist party can form a government through peaceful competition.

“The government is currently working to uplift the nation for justice and equitable society,” he said.

The Prime Minister also said the country’s agricultural yield can be increased with the proper management of irrigation and technology.

“I have ploughed the land and cultivated it. I am aware of the know land, irrigation and its production,” he told farmers present at the First Central Committee Meeting and Oath-taking Program of All Nepal Peasants’ Organization in Lalitpur.
