Thomas Cook collapse: Britain operating 70 flights to bring back people



LONDON: Around 70 flights have been scheduled to operate on Wednesday, Britain’s Civil Aviation Authority has said.

This has been aimed at bringing back around 16,500 people after the collapse of travel firm Thomas Cook.

Thomas Cook, which ran resorts, hotels, and airlines for 19 million people a year, had more than 600,000 people abroad when it collapsed on Monday. (Agencies)
