Monsoon to remain active till tomorrow



KATHMANDU: With the monsoon in full swing, Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), has predicted light to heavy rainfall across the country for at least two more days.

According to the division, there are chances of downpour during the nights.

“There will be rainfall in a few parts of the eastern, central and western regions, leading to the rise  in water level in rivers and risk of landslides in hills,” said Manju Basi, a meteorologist.

Monsoon is likely to continue for some days since the axis of monsoon trough is near Tarai areas.
