Education needs to be linked with development, says Education Minister



BHARATPUR: Minister for Education Girirajmani Pokhrel today said education needs to be linked with the development construction.

Quality reforms are not likely by the meager intervention of the past, he said.

Speaking to journalists at Bharatpur Airport today, Minister Pokhrel said that integrated education policy has been unveiled for the first time in Nepal’s history.

According to him, the government is in the phase of implementing the indicators introduced to enhance the quality of the community schools.

Minister Pokhrel said that the new education policy would systematize the sub- sectoral policies.

Meanwhile, speaking at a program in Kathmandu today, Minister Pokhrel said that three new bills would be tabled during the ongoing winter session of the parliament.
