Chinese envoy calls on Minister Pun



KATHMANDU: Chinese ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi has paid a courtesy call Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Energy Barsha Man Pun at the Ministry today.

According to the Ministry sources, both held discussions on current issues including the ongoing progress for the construction of Tamor and Madi hydro projects.

The projects are being constructed in the partnership of Chinese company and agreement for the same was signed during the state visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Nepal last month.

On the occasion, Minister Pun shared that the progress was on as per the agreement.

Similarly, Chinese envoy Yanqi committed to continue their support in the development and prosperity journey of Nepal.
