Police arrest nine Limbuwan Morcha leaders, cadres

ILAM: The Ilam district police have arrested nine leaders and cadres, including the central secretary of Pallo Kirat Rastriya Limbuwan Morcha.

Police arrest them on the charges of carrying out activities that disturbed peace and security, according to Superintendent of Police Hira Bahadur Pandey.

The Morcha leaders were arrested in course of flying the Morcha’s flag by removing the national flags on the occasion of the party’s 64th establishment day.

According to police, Morcha’s central secretary Dhan Bahadur Bishwokarma, central chairperson of the party’s women association, Kabir Maya Sawa, secretary Man Kumar Makhim, Ilam district chairperson, Bijaya Angdambe, among others.
