18 held in connection with bomb explosions



KATHMANDU: Nagarik daily has prioritized the arrest of the suspects in connection with the bomb explosion in front of the Ncell tower in Bhaisepati and birthday celebration of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

Police rounded up as many as 18 individuals in the course of investigation into a serious of bomb explosions detonated in front of Ncell towers installed in various places including Bhainsepati on Friday evening.

According to police spokesperson Uttam Raj Subedi, a total of 18 cadres of Nepal Communist Party led by Netra Bikram Chand have been arrested.

The daily has highlighted the birthday celebration of Prime Minister Oli. He marked his 68th birthday by planting a mango sapling on the premises of the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar, says the report.
