Graft-accused govt employee commits suicide



BHAKTAPUR: A government employee accused of graft has committed suicide.

Ram Hari Subedi, 47, of Inaruwa Municipality-5 and currently residing in Suryabinayak-5, Katunje was found hanging in his house.

Subedi, who was arrested by the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA)  for taking Rs one thousand in bribe was released on a bail bond after 42 days in detention.

He had worked as a kharidar at Land Revenue Office in Kalanki.
