Karnali govt consents drafting Bill on Provincial Investigation Bureau



SURKHET: Karnali province government has decided to provide approval to formulate the draft of the Bill Related to Set Up the Province Investigation Bureau. The 34th meeting of Council of Ministers held here on Wednesday chaired by Karnali Province’s Chief Minister Mahendra Bahadur Shahi has approved the proposal submitted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law.
Similarly, the meeting has agreed in principle the proposal submitted by the Ministry of Social Development for formulation of draft relating to the mobilization of volunteers, shared Spokesperson of the Karnali Province, Bimala KC.
KC, also the Minister for Land Reform, Agriculture and Cooperatives in the Karnali Province, said that efforts would be coordinated with the province police for the building for police and rehabilitation centres. The meeting also decided to request the Government of Nepal and Ministry of Finance in the federal government for exemption of tax for the purchase of 10 ambulances to be procured by Ministry of Social Development.
