KASKI: A motorcyclist died after being hit by a passenger bus in Budi Bazaar of Pokhara metropolis-26. The accident on the Prithivi highway took place at around 9 pm last night.
Seriously injured in the accident, Tikaram Timilsena, 42, of the same locality died in course of treatment at the western regional hospital, according to the District Police Office, Kaski.
The bus and its driver that hit the motorcycle, Ga 6Pa 3029, are yet to be identified. Police have launched a search to find the driver who absconded following the accident.
